100th event for Emma RidingsA 2:15 to 3:30 p.m. open house is scheduled Nov, 20 at Presbyterian Manor* in observance of the 100th birthday of Emma Ridings, a lifelong Salina resident.She was born Emma Stoll Nov. 20, 1886, on the homestead of her grand* father, C.W, Tressin, who was one of the first trustees for the incorporation of the City of Salina.She married Fred Rhodes Ridingsin 1916, and the couple lived at 111 N.Penn for many years. He died in 1961. 10Mrs. Ridings has lived at the s manor for eight years.
