Celebrated BirthdayOn Sunday. W. F. Stewart, of Fair-lancl, quietly celebrated his 77th birthday anniversary at the home of his son, James M. Steward, of Fair-land, who, with his sister, Mrs. Carl Parker, also of Fatrland, are the only remaining children of a large family. These families were the only ones present, but the occasion was a very enjoyable one. Among the many good eats was a sumptuous birthday cake which was adorned with 77 red, white and blue candles which were blown out by Mr. Steward as the guests assembled around the table. Mr. Steward is a Civil war veteran who served his country for four long years, enlisting at the first call for volunteers, and serving until the close of the war.
