SURPRISED ON THEIR 53D WEDDING ANNIVERSARYMr. and Mrs. William Kruckeberg, who make their home with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George Sauerbrei, in the west part of town, were given a pleasant surprise Sunday, when their children, grandchildren and a few friends gathered there to help them observe their 53rd wedding anniversary. jThe guests present at the 1 o’- I clock dinner and for the afternoon‘ man, Mr. and Mrs. Will Heineman, | Waterloo; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weltzin, of Jubilee; Mr. and Mrs. | Walter Sauerbrei and children, of ! near Readlyn; Mr. and Mrs. Fred 1 Nolting and children, northwest ; of town, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Sauer- ; brei and son, Leo, of south of town.Mr. Kruckeberg is 81 and Mrs. j Kruckeberg is 71 years old and, | despite their advanced age, they j are both well and very active. The former is still able to preform many duties about the home. Mrs. Kruckeberg spends her time at making quilts and other hand work.AUXILIARY NOTES
