TO LIONS1 CLUBjS'O. E. Norton, district governor of the Lion's club, Wednesday night presented the charter to the J local organization at a meeting and dinner in the Interurban restaurant. Norton told of the work of the Llion's-clubs over the Unit-i . * , (ed States and expressed his confidence that the local club would be a success. --~Kalph Breckenridge, president of the local Lion's club, received the charter and gave a short address. xHe told of the possibility of such an .organization and said that now, with its charter, that it would take part in civic activities. ,A delegation of Lions from Lorain attended the charter night meeting and each gave a rousing talk. Phonograph records. of songs sung by club members wero taken and repeated.Music was furnished by Bauer's orchestra.
