Mr. James Maples, at Mercersburg Academy, Mercers burg, Pa.Miss Mary P. Stinson, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Oscar H. Stinson, Emmitsburg, left this week for WAVE indoctrination training at Hunter College in the Bronx, New York.Unable to be present at the wedding in England today of his son, Sergt. Herman Denver Shook serving overseas with the U, S. Army, Officer Denver Shook of the City Police said yesterday arrangements had been made for hU wedding gift to the couple to arrive immediately following the ceremony, Sergt. Shook and hisEnglish-born bride, have announced intention of returning to Frederick, following the war to make their home with the groom’s father where the sergeant formerly resided at 213 East Patrick street Officer Shook said.
