Leyendecker, chairman of the Webb County Demo-era tic Executive Committee, Albert Martin, President of the Independent Club, M. J. Raymond, County Judge and Mayor Hugh S. Cluck are all urging local voters to vote the straight Democratic ticket.Calling attention to the fact that both Roosevelt and Truman have been endorsed by the Democratic conventions in Webb County and the Independent Club and that all Democrats are pledged to support such nominees and also state and local Democratic nominees.The political leaders here are stressing the fact that there must be no change in Administration while such administration is conducting’ affairs ably not only at home but abroad. “Let us not change when we are winning the war and will win the peace, they urge the voters.They are calling on all voters to cast their ballot as true and consistent Democrats.
