For 55 years he was 1 employed at Krebb's Furniture Co., retiring in1975.He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Rovers basketball team in the early1920s.He was a member of St.Stephen Church and the Holy Name Society of that parish and Knights of Columbus 968.Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillian Schroer,Hamilton; son, Joseph B. Schroer Jr., Dayton; five daughters. Miss Marilyn Schroer and Mrs. Dan (Carol) Ca ha la ne, Hamilton, Mrs. Lee (Jean Ann) Sheyer. Fairfield, Mrs. Dave (Barbara)Corcoran, Chicago, III., ; two sisters, Mrs. Larry (Lois) Berger, Albuquerque. N.M. Mrs. John (Adeline) Wanamaker, Hamilton, and Mrs. Robert (Loretta)Zimmers, Arlington, Va.; 11 grandchildren.Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Stephen Church.
