Miss Margie Hranicky, bride elect of Rolx’rt Fisher of Rosenberg was complimented with a miscellaneous bridal shower at the Wallis Youth Center with about a hundred guests i present. L’pon arrival Margie was given a white chrysanthemum corsage with pink ribbonswhile her mother, Mrs. Richard Hranicky and the prospectivegroom's mother. Mrs. Fred h isher of Rosenberg each hadall white chrysanthemum corsages. Lace tablecloths withpink roses arrangements were used throughout the room. Refreshments of chicken saladsandwiches, variety of kolaches, cakes, chips, pickles, mints, olive's, coffee, and tea were served to the guests. Willie Raska, Joe Cervenka.PINK AND BLUE SHOWERMrs. Johnny Dirba was given j a pink and blue shower Sunday, October 31. at 2:00 p.m. at the! Wallis American Legion Kitchen. The mother-to-be received a corsage made of pastel colored baby socks and the grandmoth-ers-to-be, Mrs. John Dirba, Sr. and Mrs. Vencil Prazak each had white and blue split carnation corsages. Around seventy ladies registered their names in the baby-to-be book. Pastel colored cut flower arrangements and baby decals were used for decor. Rosemarie J j received a variety of usefulgifts for the new baby for which | she thanked her guests and the I hostesses for making this a happy afternotin for her, and their gift, a play pen with all thepads, and a sterilizer.
