NEY.While husking corn - at George Goller’s Wednesday afternoon, Wilbur Beattie caught the little finger of his left hand on the gearing of the husking machine. The finger was amputated at the first joint. Dr. P. M. Lehman dressed the hand.Miss Florence Walker is working at Mrs. Sherm Snyder’s for a shorttime.Dr. Riggs was called to Ney to see Mrs. Neff, who is on the sick list atpresent.Wednesday was the last day’s run of the Ney Canning factory.Miss .Jennie Krummel, of near Ayersville, was the guest of Peter PahlVa few days last week.The dance given by Frank Wisda Wednesday evening, in the Pugh hall, was quite a success in every respect. A nice place for dancing lessons, music and a social time.Albert Pahl again walks the streets proud and erect. Why? Because a bouncing baby girl arrived at his house Wednesday morning. All doing well.
