KLowell Man Dies ofInjuriesLOWELL - Jean Paul Syl vain, 48, died at St. Elizabeth's hospital Saturday from Injuries sustained Thursday at his home, 30 Cabot street.Following a-second-story fall over a bannister at his home, he had been taken to St. Joseph's hospital for treatment and was later transferred to the Brighton hospital.He was bom. in Canada and had been a Lowell resident for several years. He was the son of the late Ferdinand and Ma-rilda (Bernier) Sylvain. A bartender, he was an Army veteran of World War II.He.is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose (Rouleau) Sylvain; six brothers, Roger, Henry and Eugene. Sylvain, all of Lowell, Gerard Sylvain of Canada, Maurice of New Bedford and Roland Sylvain of Dracut; five sis-sters, Mrs. Jean Silva, Mrs. Yvette. Clancy and Miss Gertrude Avila, all of Lowell; Mrs. Irene Nieolls and Mrs. Cecile Mireault, both of Dracut.1e
