Charh-sj O'Neil, Michael O'Neil,, .Taines O'Neil, John O'Neil and Florence O’Neil tiled suit in the Circuit Court Tuesday against the Catholic Knights of America for the collection of a benefit certificate for , St.000, alleged to be due on the life | of Anna O'Neil who was the mother ' of the plaintiffs.The complaint recites that a benefit certificate for St.dnO on the life of Mrs, O'Neil was issued by the defendant in 1900, made payable to the plaintiffs and their sister, Nellie O'Neil Phillips, the proceeds to be jointly divided.It is alleged that decedent was on April ^0. 1914, declared of unsound mind and on December 10, of the same year was committed to the Hospital for the Insane at Madison. About that time, it is alleged, while she was of unsound mind and incompetent to do so, she changed the beneficiary to Nellie Phillips exclusively, and after her death during February 1915. the defendant paid the amount of the policy to Mrs. Phillips. It is alleged such change in the beneficiary was not valid. A number of interrogatories are filed as to the date of the policy, the beneficiaries named, the changes made therein and other details not known to plaintiffs who have no cony of the policy, it is set , I forth.
