Flippin of F^ilaski. She wasa .graduate of Guilford Collegeand earned an M.S. inGuidance from RadfordUniversity. She taught fourth grade at Carlisle for a numberof years and was currently aguidance counselor atMartinsville High School. Shewas a member of the FirstPresbyterian Church oifMartinsville and for manyyears was a member of thechoir.She is survived by her children Beth and Ben Wilson of Martinsville; by her brother, Frank Flippin, his wife Margie and their children, Sally and Collins of Roanoke; by her sis-vter, Margaret Shuler and her husband Jim of Blacksburg and their children, Laurel S. Moore and her husband, Declan and their daughter Mallory of Washington, D.C. and Marshall Shuler and his wife Jennifer of Burlington, N.C. Kate is also survived by her friend, Barry Tuttle of Eden, N.C. and his daughter Emily.The service celebrating herlife was held -at the First■ Presbyterian Church of Martinsville Tuesday afternoon at 5 p.m. with a reception foL lowing.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
