TWO TO ANSWER CHARGES OFUNLAWFUL POSSESSIONJoseph Schmitt, Pass Christian baker, and Jerry Ausmer, DeLisle negro, passed through Gulfport this morning en route to Biloxi, where Federal Prohibition Agents J. R. Goff and Lee Gray were expecting to prefer charges of unlawful possession of liquoragainst them. Schmitt, the officerssaid, had three pints of whiskey, a quart of wine, and a quantity of wine in the “making,” while Ausmer was said to have been caught with two gallons of moonshine* liquor.
