Miss., May 26.—With every business house of any importance in allies, together with a large number of private resicences, the principal hotel and the passenger depot, YazooCity, a town of 6.000 people, 45 milesfrom Jackson, is» Wednesday night resting alter one of the most excitingdays in its history. The fire started at S:30 o'clock Wednesday morning, and burned until five o’clock in the afternoon. destroying a total of two hundred houses. The burned district is three blocks wide and twelve blocks long. The estimates of the loss are between $1,600,000 and $2,000,000.I
