Winnie Lucas EdwardsWinnie Lucas “Queenie” Edwards, 81, died Saturday:She graduated from Rock Ridge High School in 1951. She married William L. “Smokey” Edwards on Oct. 30,1954,She was the mother and mother-in-law to four daughters and sons-in-law, Terria D. Strickland and husband Ronald of Gamer, Tanya L. Del-fin and husband Ricardo of Miami, Angela D. Lee and husband Wayne of Clayton, Steffanie L. Sharp and husband Tim of Wilson: brother, Junior Lee Lucas and wife JoAnn of Stantons-burg. She had seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.A graveside service was held Sunday at Evergreen Memorial Park officiated by the Rev.
