Janet Sue AhrendesJanet Sue Ahrendes, 37,109 W. 19th St., died Thursday at Hadley. Regional Medical Center after a short .illness.Born in Hays May 23, 1936, she attended Hays public schools and Fort Hays State College. She moved to Salina and returned to Hays in 1963. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hays.Survivors include a son, Frank, Salina; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Earl, Hays; a brother, Jack Earl Jr., WaKeeney; and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Pearson, Ellis; Mrs. Anna Mae Trndell, Brookings, S.D.; Mrs. Elsie Emrick, New Orleans, La.; Mrs. Jean Smith, Security Colo.; and Mrs. Patsy Teller, Hays.Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Hays with Rev. Harold Wisner officiating.Burial will be in Fort Hays Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and 9. a.m. until service time Saturday.
