Nine Men Face Charges in Gambling CaseAn Indianapolis man was arrested here early Saturday morning and charged with operating a gaming house and possession of gaming devices. Eight Kokomoans were also an-ested and charged with visiting a gaming house.Arrested were:Thomas J. Beard, 46, Indianapolis.Ernest P. Beard, 37, 627 E. JeffersonSt.Robert L. Beard, 27, 946 E, Havens St.David Gibson, 22, 610 E. Jackson St.Patricia Ann Gibson, 21,610 E. Jefferson StLawrence Gordon, 20, 627 E. Jefferson St.Frankie L. Woodard, 18, 620 E. Monroe St.Alicia L. Balentine, 21, 420 E. Madison SI.John W. Bettis, 32, 915 E. Broadway St.Police said the arrests were made at 421 E. Monroe St., at approximately 3:30 a.m. and added that several gaming devices were confiscated at the scene.
