Catherine Rochelle, a lifelong resident, and one of (ho oldest and most highly rcspcclcd Hamilton residents passed away at hey home, 94(5 Heaton «tract, on Wednesday nC noon of general do-bility at the age of 92 years, three months and 22 dnys. * 1• Mrs. Itochelle was born in Hamilton, January 21, 1833 and spent her entire life here.She ws married August 17, 1854 to William Rochelle.She had often told her children llinl she was able to recall the presence of Indians and wild animals be-iilg seen in the vicinity of Hamilton.Mrs. Rochelle was a lifelong member of llio United Presbyterian church and was active in the affairs of that congregation. She was well known in Hamilton and Butler county as a woman of highest principles of honor and of staling character. She was kind to all, and a host of Hamilton people will mourn (he loss of a good friend.
