Crofts in memory of their daughter was dedicated, and a dozen children were baptized. The little son of the donors. John Wensley Crofts, was the first child baptized. Mr. Crofts was a trustee of the church for some time. After the sermon sixty new members were received, the largest number ever taken into the church at one time. Four years ago last Easter forty-one were received. Of the number yesterday. thirty-one were on confession and twenty-nine by letter. At the communion service individual cups were used fcr the first time, the communion set being largely the gift of Edward A.
