Army engineers have awarded a $177,327 .contract to Gits Bnmn Contracting Co.. Kansas City, Mo., for construction of administration facilities at the Perry, Kas., Dam and reservoir project.. Sen. James B. Pearson. R-Kas,, announced today.involved are a. storage building, overlook shelters, water well and treatment plant, carport, sidewalks and utilities.DEATHSMiss Nellie SitesA Hays woman who has been a resident of the Jones Rest Home at. Beloit, for the past two and a half years. Miss Nellie Sites, died early Sunday morning at the Home at the age of 67.Born Jan. 22, 1897, In Ellis County, Miss Sites attended Ellis County schools and graduated from Hays High School and Port Hays State College.She was employed at Ekcv’s Camera Store in Hays for about 30 years.She was a member of the Methodist. Church, Kappa Phi sorority and the Garden Club.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at. the Methodist Church, Hays. Burial will be in Mt. Allen Cemetery. Rev. tfcorrmm Simmons will officiate.Friends may call at Mail's Mortuary Chapel, Hays, until service time.Survivors include a, sister. Mrs. Elhel Tomlin, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; three brothers, Blaine, Salina; Prcd, Englewood, Calif.; John, Dodge City; three nieces and four nephews.
