She was % kind and dutiful mother and never omitted to do an act of kindness for her neighbor at every opportunity. Her many friends feel a sad void in their hearts through her loss.She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rettenmaier, of near Mt. Carmel, her husband and two children, Carl, aged three, and Catherine, aged one year. Six brothers, Albert J., Martin, Edward, William, Walter and Marcus, and three sisters, Mrs. P. J. Snyder, Mrs. Joe Heisterkamp and Leona, also survive her.Funeral services which consisted of a solemn requiem high mass were held at the Catholic church at Mt. Carmel Wednesday morning and interment was made in the Catholic cemetery.
