Felger, * member of the legislative committee of the Probate Judges association of Ohio, of which Judge William C. Wiseman of Montgomery county is chairman, points or5 that there is now a law in effect spon sored by the probate judges group which persons who have no official birth record or persons whose birth Vecords are Incorrect to file an application in the probate court to have a record established or their old record corrected.Judge Felger has a list of instructions as compiled by Judge Wise man which goes into detail the steps necessary to establish such records or make corrections. The application for correction of a birth record may be supported by the affidavit of the physician In attendance at birth, If available if not available then the affidavit* of two persons who have personal knowledge of the facts or convincing documentary evidence. In making an application for a record when none exists it must be supported by the testimony given by the applicant in open court before the probate judge with at least two witnesses or clear, convincing documentary evidence.
