Page 26, CLOVIS NEWS-JOURNAL, Sunday, May 8,1988Woman celebrates 100th birthday with loved onesNews-Joumal StaffMore than 800 people fromacross the country attended a celebration honoring a Clovis woman’s 100th birthday April30.Crusita Sena celebrated a century of life while surrounded by her family, which included approximately 800 relatives who had come from all over.The celebration began with Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church,followed by a reception atthe Clovis YRB.Mrs. Sena was born and grew up in Colonias in 1888 where she met and married her husband Thomas Sena in1908. She is the mother of six children, 35 grandchildren,120 great-grandchildren, 93 great-great-grandchildrenand 1 great-great-great grandchild.She came to Clovis in 1923where her husband worked for the Santa Fe Railway and she worked as a housekeeper.Crusita Sena celebrated her 100th birthday April 30.
