BeasleyServices for Beniamin FV Beasley, 71, of 1728 Butler Ave., will bell a.m. Friday at Garden View Chapel with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery with military rites by Becker-Chapman American Legion Post 188 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1623.Mr. Beasley died at his home Tuesday (May 2) after a heart attack. He was bom Aug. 3,1917, in Waterloo, son of Frank and Addle Story Beasley. He married Edna Carpenter on Oct. 15, 1951, in Lancaster, Mo.He was a foreman at Rath Packing Co. for 33 years, retiring in 1973. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, , serving during World War II from June 12,1942, to Oct. 7, 1945..Survivors include a son, Dean Marvin Beasley of Waterloo; a stepson, Carl White of Waterloo; a daughter, Cheryl Beasley of Waterloo; three stepdaughters, Edna Burnett of Maquoketa, Pearl Lupo of Chicago and Josephine Provin of Barnes City; -a brother, James of Waterloo; three sisters, Diane Voigt of Evansdalc and June and Betty; and six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchiJdren.Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to services Friday at the funeral chapel.Memorials may be directed to the family.
