Minister Leaving AreaThe Rev. Jerry Deffenbaugh, pastor of the Cairo and Jacksonville Christian Church Parish, will be moving May 30 to serve as minister of the First Christian Church in liberal, Kan.,The Rev. Mr. Deffenbaugh hasbeen pastor of the parrish for 4%years. He and Ms wife, Nota,have four children; Rodney, 11;Tamera, 8; Teri, 8 and Ritchie’, 3,Jerry is a native of Missouri. He took his under graduate work in Nebraska and his seminary training at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Ind., graduating from the seminary inJ962.Rev. Jerry DeffenbaughHis last Sunday in the parish will be May 16.
