Tamara and Gerald Burla wish to announce the birth of their second child, Mayuko Zarah. On August 13,2003, Mayukosurprised everyone with her early arrival at Whitehorse General Hospital. She is the little sister of Tatyana, the second granddaughter of Ron and Yvonne Burla of Thunder Bay and the second great granddaughter of Ella Kuzenko. Born at a feisty 2 lbs, Mayuko created a lot of excitement for ever)'one. After 68 days in the Edmonton Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, she returned home to the Yukon a healthy 5 lbs, 4 oz. The Burla family would like to thank the staffs of Whitehorse General Hospital, University of Alberta Hospital, Royal Alexandria Hospital and the Grey Nuns Hospital and all family and friends who conveyed their wishes and prayers during and after delivery.
