An Ordinance to amend an Ordinance entitled “ An Ordinance for the regulation of the Markets within the City of Burlington.Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Burlington :Sec. 1. That the Matket-days from and after the publication of this Ordinance, be eve-i ry day in the week, (Sundays excepted,) for * the sale of fresh meats. And no person or I persons shall be allowed to retail fresh meats at any other place than the Market House within the city limits, (except to water crafts.) Any j person violating the provisions of this Ordl-j nance, shall be deemed guilty of an offence j against th** city, and shall, upon conviction j thereof, be fined not less than Five Dollars, and be imprisoned until the fine and costs are paid, j Sec. 2.
