Driver Cited | After Accident ZA 33-year old Louin man Was arrested Saturday in connection with charges of driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked driver’s license after he was involved in a three-vehicle accident resulting in the hospitalization of two area residents.Authorities say that Harold E. Green, Route 1, Louin, lost control of his vehicle in heavy rains at about 4:42 p.m. as he was traveling north on Highway 15, near the Northern Electric Co.GREEN’S vehicle slid across the median striking the vehicle driven by David N. Smith, 1148 N. 13th Ave. A vehicle following Smith’s vehicle, driven by David T. Gault was unable to stop and hit the Smith vehicle as well, according to police records.Both Smith and a passenger in his vehicle, Kelly M. McKee, Ovett, were taken to the Jones County Community Hospital by ambulance.Smith is in stable condition following surgery for multiple fractures to the right leg and pelvis.
