Trick, girl.William Long, boy.Jra Johnson, boy.John Dnncan, girl.John Doherty, boy.Washington Pectol, girl.Only the name of the father is given in the above list. There were two otber births reported, but the name of the father and mother was not returned. One of these was premature; the other illegitimate, the mother in the latter being but sixteen years old. It will be observed in the above list that the county, outside the city, shows but few births. The reason of this i9 that very few of the physicians in Greenville, Lafayette and Georgetown township have made the returns required by law. These returns should have all been made to the Secretary of the county Board of Health, Dr. John L. Stewart, by to-day.In the list of births above given the boys are far in the lead, there being forty boys to twenty-four girls. The reports from the city are not yet complete.
