E. B. CARPENTER CALLED AT NOON - | -RESIDENT OF MONMOUTH FOR PAST SEVENTEEN YEARS — DEATH DUE TO ^COMPLICATIONS — WAS 70 YEARS OLD.E. B. Carpenter, aged resident of this city, passed away this afternoon at 12:40 o’clock at his home, 615 Nor til First street. Mr. Carpenter had not been well since suffering from the influenza last winter, and his advanced agequickened his death.Mr. Carpenter was born in Indiana. January 23, 1850. He was first married to Maggie Wade of Kirkwood, and to this union four children were born, two of whom are living. They are Mrs. Cora Arendt of this cityf, and Mrs. Kate Lovitt of near Coldbrook. Mrs. Carpenter passed away a number of years ago.
