Mrs. Fred Hendrick entertained a group of friends at a surprise party for her husband Thursday evening. Cards were played and prizes wereawarded to Mrs. Lizzie Connelly andAlbert Howes for high score and to Mrs. John Barter and Richard Jack son for low. After the honoree had unwrapped his mapy gilts, refresh-ments were served by the hostess.
