Two of the gratis joined the arms' immediately after graduation, but returned to Lubbock soon after the Armistice was signed. One of them, Clarence Goodnight, . still has an unbroken record for the track mile in Lubbock. In ‘18 he ran it in 4 minutes, 41 and 1-5 seconds. It stands today.Tine reunion was given in honor of Mary Bcllah, now Mrs. Barrier of Denver. Colo. Other graduates attending the picnic were: Clarence Goodnight, now in the meat packing business; Robert Bean, Lubbock lawyer; Lila Gibson, now Mrs. kenning; Mary Cooper, now Mrs. Redman from Tulla; Nell Stubbs, now Mrs. McNeil; Lester Goodnight., notv Mrs. Lester Boles, postal clerk In Lubbock; Roger Stubbs; Maymc Alexander; Nobia Slagle and Roy Mctlock, cook at a local hotel.Other members of the class were; Vine 11 a Koff. deceased; Lucille Harper; Waylam! Sanders; Neva Strickland; Lelia Roberds, now Mrs. Krueger; Glen Bates; Howard Medlock; Evelyn Jennings; Grace Hawkins; Maggie Bounds.
