Milton J. Heflel was born in Nevada, Story county, Iowa, February 10th., 1809. He was the second son of the late Jacob and Mary Hefler, who came to Cass county in 1882, i locating on a farm in this vicinity, i Mother Hefler passed away at Anita in February, 1897, and Mr. Hefleranswered the final summons inIcJune 1898.
