DUE WARBUN6S.• I(Too late for last week.)The Thirteen Hours Devotionwas celebrated appropriately in St. Michaels Church by solemn High Mass at 9 o’clock. Thecelebrant of the mass was Rev. Jos. Koester, of Madison, assisted by Rev. I\ Holfeltz as deacon and Rev. Michael Weyer as subdeacon. Two appropriate! sermons were preached by Rev. B. Siepker, in German, andRev. John N. Schiltz, in English. The Rev. clergymen present were: B. Siepker of Waunakee, • Michael Weyer of St. Martins, J. N.I Schiltz of Ijodi, Peter Holfeltz of Roxbury, and Jos. Koester of Madison.The members of the parish celebrated the feast collectively by adoration of the h. Eucharist.The funeral of Mrs. Win.Wagner took place at St. Michaels Church on Tuesday attended by a large number of relatives and friends. Deceased was a daughter of John A. Kurt of Dane, I having been born and raised inn tin community in which she 1 died. She leaves a husband and four children to mourn her untimely death. For o years up to her death she was an invalid and suffered greatly at times having been confined to her bed for the last nine months. Her remains were laid to rest in the 8t.Michaels cemetery, Rev. N. L. Frei-man officiating.Mr. and Mrs. Peter Derra are rejoicing over the arrival of ababy boy.
