The mother is remembered here as Miss Lovis Lang, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Lang.An eight and one-lialf pound daughter was born to Mr, and Mrs, Sanford Furrow, Jr., at the Storm Lake hospital March 6. Mrs. Furrow was formerly Miss Cleo Jones of this place.Due to the unexpected cold weather last week little fuel was on hand at some of the churches and as a result there were no services in either the Methodist or Lutheran churches. The musical concert at the Methodist church scheduled for last Sunday evening will be held at a future time.Another attempt was made Thursday night to break into the Weiden*
