Whiddon Jr. of Beeville,;v. lt;christened in a piivatejservice at the First Methodist Church Sunday afternoon.March 8, at 3 p.m. in Beeville.The Rev. Milton Bohmfalk! officiated. The child’s godparents are Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Burriston of Oakland, Calif.Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. K. C. W hiddon Sr. of Beeville and the maternalgrandmother is Mrs, Nina Put -;ham of Driscoll.Following the service a reception was held at the W hid-don Sr. residence, OrangedaleRoad. The serving table in the dining room was covered with a pink cloth overlaid with pink tulle. A kneeling angel on acrystal pedestal surrounded bytulle ruching, pink rosebudslt;and lemon leaves formed the ] centerpiece. Mrs. (»us G. Kenne presided at the coffee serviceand Mrs. Ned Everett and Mrs. ; Milton Bohmfalk served thechristening cake.Out-of-town guests includ-:ed family friends from Driscoll and Robstown.
