PLUNKETT BURIED UNION GROVE ON SUNDAY►W. F. Plunkett, one of the. pioneer' settlers of Cullman County, was born in Georgia on August 11th, 1853 and died here March 10/ 1933. If he had lived until August he would have been 80 years old.He was a member of the Methodist church and had been for 62 years. .He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ulma Mabry and Mrs. C. H. Loyd both of Birmingham.Seven' sons, Turner, Grover, Cap. Will and Noah, of Cullman.County, and Clifford and Edgar/ of Birmingham.There are 35 grandchildren, and 10great-grandchildren. **Mr. Plunkett only lived 2 years and. 2 months longer than his wife, who was Amanda Johnson and to whom he was married 56 years.He was a kind, loving father and an understanding Christian.Funeral services were conducted by Bro. J. T. Spear, his pastor, assisted by Bro. E. M. Dickerson, a former pastor, also Murlyn Neal, a friend of the family for over 50 years. Burial was at Union Grove.Pall bearers were: W. M. Walton, W.
