Mrs. G. W. Webb ofFallon Honored on Her Sixty-fourth BirthdayA large crowd of friends and relatives gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Webb to celebrate Mrs. Webb’s sixty-fourth birthday, March 7, 1935. Mr. and“M*rs. Webb-have.*. Mved in or near Mexia for many years, Mrs. Webb was formerly Miss Esther Lee Waters, daughter, of Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Waters. She was born in Alabama in 1871, and three years later came to Texas with her parents, who settled in Leon county. Mrs. Webb is now the only survivor of the Waters family of eight. She was married on October 9, 1881 to G. W. Webb. They have reared eleven children, all of whom are married. They have thirteen grand children whoare the pride of their- hearts.After a bountiful spread, which was enjoyed by everyone, gifts were presented to the guest ofhonor. She received many niceThere were only five children present, including Mr. and Mrs. Donley Matthews and baby, Don-ella, Mr. and Mrs J. H. Chustzand son, Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis and baby, June, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brooks, all daugh-j ters of Mrs. Webb, and one son, j Pony Webb. Those unable to attend were: Mr. and Mrs. J. D.Webb and children, Mr. and Mrs. Will Rife and children, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Webb and children, i Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Webb and | daughter, Juanita, and Mrs. Em-! ma Bales.
