—The high price of cattle has induced so many farmers in this county to dispose of their stock that it is thought cows will be very scarce this spring.—An unmarried woman named Lybolt, in the town of Mamakating, is the mother of a child, two months old, that has six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, all perfectly developed.—A teacher near Grahamsville, as a punishment for some trifling offence, sent a little son of John Smith out into the cold. The thermometer was below zero, and the little fellow was compelled to remain out so long that he was so thoroughly chilled that he died the followingnight.
