Breakfast, Mass Is Attended by Girl ScoutsGirl Scout Sunday was celebrated by Girl Scouts of St. Andrew Catholic School, Manitowoc, by planning and participating in a Mass celebrated by the Kev. Roy Geenen at St. Andrew Catholic Church.Acolytes and electors were Tim Willman, Mike Willman, Mark Willman, Norbert Vogt Jr. and James Marlborough.Opening the Mass was the flag ceremony conducted by Mrs. Robert Heinz and Miss Sue Golding. Cadettes taking part were Lynn Kopetsky, Marla Meihsner, Becky Golding, Rita Schroeder; •Junior Scouts were Abbie Arndor/cr, Sara Bertsche, Susan Braun; and Brownies were Chris Miller, Cheryl Gintner and Mary Jo Backus.Girls reading the petitions were Katie Lakatos, Karen Neuser, Lori Heinz and Mary Beth Marlborough. Bringing ifts to the altar were Vicky havlik, Jane Behrendt .and Mary Beth Marlborough. Each troop was asked to send a representative to the altar from the offertory untilcommunion. Girls were Betty Hietpas, Chris Bonnefoi, Julianne Johnsrud, Tracy Radosevich, Chris Griebling, Mark Dirkman, Lea Rosik, Tammy Dirkman and Tina Dirkman.After Mass 185 scouts and parents attended a breakfast with the theme, “What's Cooking in Scouting.” Mrs. Edward Sheahan, neighborhood chairman, welcomed the group and told the scouts, “The things you learned in the past and the things learned in the present will reflect in the future.”Mrs. Margaret Schroeder, cookie chairman, reported on the cookie sale. A Juliette Low program was presented by Susan Braun and Jodi Stcin-brecker.Girls and their leaders represented in the Juliette Low canister presentation were Lea Rosik. representing Troop 118led by Wendy Rosik and Debbie Gaedke; Jill Wusterbarth of Brownie Troop 159 of Mrs. Jerome Miller and Mrs. Marie Wicklacz; Chris Keil, Brownie Troop 65 of Mrs. Ray Backus.Vicky Kuelinl, representing Junior Troop 183 of Mrs. Tony Kubes and Mrs. Tom Dirkman; Tammy Fitzgerald, Junior Troop 142 of Mrs. Dale Leiker and Mrs. Richard Hibbard; Katie Lakatos, Cadettes of Troop 3, Miss Sue Golding and Mrs. Robert Heinz; and Barb Longmeyer, Troop 63, Mrs. Kenneth Gintner and Mrs. Edward Sheahan.
