REASON CONWELL DIESOLD-TIME RESIDENT OF KOKOMON ANSWERS FINAL CALL.Spent Sixty-Five Years of His Life In This Community—Funeral Tuesday.Reason Conwell, one of the oh! familiar pioneer figures of Kokomo and Howard county, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Otho Dowden, living at 323 South Philips street, at 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Mr. Conwell was the last of a family of seven children.• For sixty-five years Mr. Conwell had lived in this community and had a large circle of acquaintances and friends. All of the old timers around Kokomo knew him as “Captain” Conwell- They will be greatly shocked to hear of the death of a friend so dear. During his long residence here Mr. Conwell made for himself the reputation of an honest upright man who was ever ready to help those in need and a man who had a kind word for everybody.He is survived by three children, a daughter, Mrs. Otho Dowden, and two} Sons, Ed, of Kokomo, and John, of El wood.Funeral services will be held from the home of his daughter, 323 South Philips street, at 10 o’clock Tuesday morning. Interment will be made at Crown Point cemetery. The funeral services will be in charge of the Rev. Frank Wilson.1lt;tlc.atlt;
