To those already finished, or ready for occupancy we can now add that of the Cumberland Presbyterian denomination, under tha charge of the Her. Mr. Baird, which will be open for worehip in the lecture room on Sunday next. This fine edifice, whan finished, will be one of the moat capacious and imposing ■tructuraa in the city, We understand that tbe city is indebted almost exclusivaly to the efforts of Mr. B. for thia new and beautiful ornament. _________Marine Hospital.—We are gratified to learn that our fellow-townsman, Judge Jso. W. Webber, has received tbe appointmeut of Superintendent of Erection of the Marine Hospital, soon to be built in thia city. Thia is a good appointment, and worthily bestowed ; and from an acquaintance of many years with the Judge, we are satisfied that the duties of his office will be discharged with zeal and fidelity.81ofdlt;dlt;diititfrmaai0bsitielt;u*3r No police court yesterday. Hislectures are well received, and his delineations of character appear to be very generally concurred in. The ladies are less numerous than we should like to see. and more “backward about coming forward” than is popular aiiioug the b-hoys.
