(17* The Grand Jury of Des Moines county, at the late Term of the District Court for that county, found a bill of indictment against John Roes, for manslaghter, in the Bradstreet affray. Bail was required in the turn of $*20,000, for want of which lie has his lodgings in the basement of the jail, while the brother, charged with murder in the same case, has comfortable quarters.
