Mrs. Anna Hoesly is 90_ __ %Mrs. Anna Hoesly, 732 16th Ave., who will celebrate her 90th birthday anniversary tomorrow, March 8, received a birthday card Monday fromPresident Nixon.The card, placed at the top of a pile of cards she has already received, reads:“Mrs. Nixon and I are delighted to join your family and friends in helping you celebrate this special day — your 90th birthday. May you always know the peace, joy anddeserve.” Richard Nixon.On Friday, she will celebrate her special day by attending themeeting of the Monroe Golden Age Club, which was postponed from Tuesday.There has already been one observance. She was guest of honor at a dinner March 3 at the Idle Hour Mansion. Mrs.Hoesly was surprised to be joined for the occasion by her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Ole) Humbel, of West Bend, who returned from Florida where they are vacationing, to spend the day with her. They flew home with friends in a private plane and have returned to Florida.Others attending the dinner were the honoree’s granddaughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kirchner, West Bend, and Mike, Mark and Candace, and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Cunningham, Monroe.Mrs. Hoesly, a native of New'York, is in good health, although her eyesight is poor and she can no longer read or watch television. She resides alone and is able to do her own housework. She walks without a limp, despite the fact that she has suffered fractures of both hips.Mrs. Hoesly has four living children, Mrs. Lottie Hastings, Winslow; the former Lottie Rodebaugh; Mrs. Humbel, the former Tillie Rodebaugh; and Thomas, Freeport, andFrederick of Newman, Calif. Another son, Donald, died three years ago. She has 15 grandchildren, 30 greatgrandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.. —. ;V*. ^MRS. ANNA HOESLY
