And the Temecula Valley senior’s shot was certainly that, finding the back of the net in the 52nd minute to give the Golden Bears a 1-0 victory over Esper-anza in the CIF Southern Section Division I championship Saturday at Cal State Fullerton.The title was the second for Temecula Valley, which won the Small Schools Division in 1991. The Aztecs were appearing in their fifth championship game under Coach Kino Oaxaca“I thought we played well, Oaxaca said. “I thought it was an evenly matched game We made one mistake, and it cost us the game and it cost us theduunpioaship.’’The goal was set up by Jeff Lange, who pounded the ball inside the box from about 50 yards out.
