As Mr. ^ j Jones is well qualified to fill that position, i people will not regret casting their ballot for *m him.,Mr. John Davis, we learn, is very low withbone rheumatism. j ^rtWe are authorized to say that Mr. John I a9 S Davis and family wish to express their sin- m cere thanks to their neighbors and friends hr* that so kindly lend their helping hands in i*e cutting wood and doing other deeds of kindness.We congratulate our old friend, K. V. Evans, of west York, for an acquisition to his family.The Pollock Bros, were so over stocked with grinding Friday and Saturday that they had to finish on Monday. By all indications they will have to run three days out of a week hereafter.Quite a number from here attended the institute at Enterprise last week. iMrs. Wm. D.
