Campbell officiated for the 1:30 p m. double ring, open church ceremony.Mrs. Swearingen is the for* vner Dorothy Jean Colson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Colton of ED 1, Richmond. Mr. Swearingen is the son of Mr- and MTs. Richard J. Swearingen of 1*104 N- 4th St. Toronto.The matron of honor wore yellow and the bridesmaids wore blue flowered organza over taffeta gowns with square necklines, Eknpire bodices, short bell sleeves, A-line skirts with lace trim and flounced hemlines, white lace trim at waistlines, and matching pic* ture hats.Dana Dick, niece of the bridewas flower girl. Patrick Colson, newphew of the bride, wasringbearerRichard J- Swearingen,la bestGiven in marriage by her father, the bride wore a colonialcandlelight gown with _ neckline and overlays of pointed lace, long tapered sleeves ending with a lace trimmed flounee, floor length skirt gathered into a bustle back and ending in a chapel length train. The hemline was accented with a flounce. Her three tiered illusion veil was held with a seeded pearl tiara*,She carried a crescent of white roses, white miniature carnations, baby's breath andtoy.Mrs. Helen A. Dick, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridemaids were Prlacilla A Wion, Mster-ln-law of thebrother of the groom, was man. Ushers were Gary Hawkins and Robert Marker.Following the ceremony a reception was held in theStratton Municipal building.When they return they will reside at Brewster Homes in Toronto Mrs. Swearingen is a graduate of Jefferson Union High School.
