nThomas H, MitchejlFuneral services for Thomas Henry Mitchell, who died Tuesday at 1*80 p m, at the Madison County Sanatorium, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wesley chapel, AME church with the Rev. J. M. Robin* son officiating.Mr. Mitchell was born Dee. 3, 1892 in Edwardsville, a son of the late Thomas and Maggie McDamon MitchelL He is survived by two sons, Russell Udell of Vernon, Fla., and Thomas Henry, Jr, of Edwards* ville; four daughters, Mis. Myrtle E Ruffin of Alton, Mrs. Doris A King of St. Louis, Mrs, Louise Flowers of Berkeley, Calif, and Mrs, Geraldine Kill Ion of Edwardsville, one sister, Mrs Florence Jackson of Alton, an aunt, Mrs, Mary Stewart; 15 grandchildren and two great-gr andchi Idrc n.He was preceded in death by his wife, Altheda, on Nov 2, 1931 and by a brother, William Markus, on March 17.He was a member of Wesley chapel and was employed by Buckles Transfer company.Friends may call at the Mitchell residence, 168 West street, after 6 pm Friday until 130 pm, Saturday when the body will be taken to the church.Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery with the Straube funeral home in eharge.I
