Mrs. Howell read of the child having been made a ward of the county and being desirious of a child immediately came here, visited the child and consulted Judge Shockncy. She was pleased with the child and as the Judge gave his consent to the adoption of the child if she would submit to the court evidence of her and her husband’s financial and moral responsibility, she returned home and secured the necessary proof and an outfit for the child. These she submitted to Judce Shockncy yesterday and the adoption made legal. The woman proudly and happily departed with the child for her home. The husband earns good wages and it is believed the child has a promising future, 'flic new mother christened the child
