Street RaUnMb-CMtracl Awarded.Capt. Kph. Whistler, the enterprising head of the Street Railroad move* ment, is moving things along in the usual way which characterises all his enterprises. The contract for the timber to construct the road and lumber to build the car house, stables, c., was awarded toW. P. Everdon, of Leavenworth, who is to have the material delivered at the earliest possible moment Capt. W. has also engaged a gentleman of this city to purchase horses for the road, which will be done at once, as no time will be lost in the construction of the Main street line.
